Grounds Keeper -The Victoria College

Grounds Keeper -The Victoria College Full-time salaried position with benefits. Grounds Keeper works with a team to water, mow, and maintain campus grounds as directed; also sweeps parking lots and roadways, picks up trash, and may assist on other projects as directed. Must have a minimum of two years full-time grounds keeping experience, and experience in irrigation system installation and maintenance. Must know comprehensive care and maintenance of lawns, trees, shrubs and plants. Must have knowledge and ability to safely use lawn maintenance equipment including, rakes, shovels, lawn mowers, tractor including backhoe and front-end loader, chainsaw, edger, string trimmer, and chipper/shredder. Must be able to safely push, pull, carry or regularly lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds occasionally. Must have a valid Texas Driver's License.
