Classified ads are updated daily around midnight.

What Classified ads will I find online?
All single column line ads printed in The Victoria Advocate appear online.

How do I search?
You can search for ads by using the keyword search method or by browsing through the ads using the category lists below.

How do I use the and and or options.
Simply click on the and or or button, then enter at least two words separated by a comma. Do not use quotation marks. An example would be if you wanted to look for both dogs and cats, you would click on the and button, then type dogs, cats. Remember, that the search is looking for the word in the ad not the category. If the ad uses the word Labrador instead of dog it will not find it. In this case it would be best to use the category links below to search through the categories.

How do I browse?
To browse, choose the major category you are interested in viewing. Select the classification within that category you want to browse. Click on the classification and the ads for that classification will appear.

Can you give me any Search Tips?
Many classified ads may leave out important information like the fact the property is for sale and not for lease. Remember that the search is looking for the word in the ad, not the category. Are captial letters important?
Searches are not case sensitive, so you can enter words with or without capitalization.

How do I place an ad in The Victoria Advocate Classifieds?
To place an ad in the newspaper, you must contact a representative of the classifieds sales staff at 361-574-1234.

How do I place an ad in the online classifieds?
You can also place an ad online. To place a classified ad online click here ( http://ssl.victoriaadvocate.com/webbase/a.do ) and follow the instructions. Rates and deadlines vary, so the best place to get the whole scoop is from the friendly sales representatives who can help you when you call Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to noon. You can also visit us at our main office at 311 E. Constitution, in downtown Victoria, Texas.

Why can't I find The Victoria Advocate display ads online?
Unfortunately, at this time, we do not have the technology in place to offer the display ads online. Don't worry, we are working 'round the clock to come up with a user-friendly and searchable solution.

How do I print out a listing of my classifieds results?
Ads can be printed page by page through the print button on your browser. Highlighting, copying and pasting the ad into a word processing application can print individual ads.
